Our client has been in steadily growing for the past 6 years through acquisitions and organic growth within Australia and in a number of the countries that they operate.
A recent restructure has created a new position that will essentially take some workload off the CFO and Financial Controller.
The Senior Financial Accountant will provide an essential resource providing the technical requirements for the statutory accounts, compliance and taxation.
You will be a technical guru with advanced knowledge of standards, audit requirements, treasury and foreign exchange.
This is a busy and important position within the finance team,the key criteria in selecting the right person is technical competency and experience as well as leadership skills and development as you will manage a small but capable team.
This business is a dynamic fast paced work environment that is growing so people who work here have to be dynamic and be able to handle a changing and dynamic work load. This is a challenging role, but also a very rewarding role.
As the Senior Financial Accountant for this business you will have ideally come through a chartered accounting firm having being thought the technical elements of reporting and business compliance, you may also have learnt leadership in that role having led assignments for clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong technician who wants to take their career to new heights in this business.
Being CPA or CA qualified will be highly regarded.

The Venue Manager manages the Entertainment, food and beverage and gaming areas to ensure a pleasant experience for their patrons. With new refurbishments the venue is looking great. You will also be involved strategically to identify areas to increase the community interaction through increased patronage and increased sponsorship to various organisations lifting the profile and image of the venue.

This is an extremely busy pub requiring an effective, highly organised Venue Manager. You will have experience managing a large full function Pub Venue and have worked in a fast paced relatively high pressured situation as well as demonstrated an ability to improve the overall effectiveness and profitability of venues in the past through strong leadership.

You will be well rewarded for exceptional performance and for leading and developing a culture that lifts the overall experience of the patrons and the profitability of the venue.

Our client is in the financial services industry with a close alignment to the energy sector. The business requires a Chief Financial Officer for a six month period to ensure that the financial integrity and overall operational fitness continue to be adhered.

The Chief Financial Officer is an integral part of the senior leadership team providing overall strategy and direction for the business. The position and business require a true hands on leader to manage the financial strategy, ongoing development of policies and procedures and controls designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

You will manage, finance, IT and all corporate services for the business as part of your daily job. As well as the internal stakeholders, you will have a number of external stakeholders like banking and financial institutions, auditors and investment advisers and any customers and suppliers that the business has.

You will obviously be suitably qualified to be the Chief Financial Officer and possess the significant experience and leadership skills to excel. This is an executive role and has high expectations, although this is only for six months it is critically important that the person has the ability to be hands on, while using strong judgement and diplomacy with an engaging personality and excellent relationship skills.

You will have been a CFO or similar in a large complex business, ideally but not compulsory within the financial services sector.
